The Mail have reported on the suicide of a man who threw himself off the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
All of the best practice guidelines, developed in concert with mental health charities and researchers, including those from the PCC, recommend not giving detailed or graphic descriptions of method, because this can increase the use of that method by readers.
